Vocal Concerts/Lectures
2007-2008
•
Dr. Eugenia Garrity will be performing selections from
Haydn’s “The Creation”, Mozart’s “Ave Verum Corpus” and
“Requiem”, and Beethoven’s “Missa Solemnis” with the Tampa
Oratorio Singers under the direction of Nancy Callahan,
Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, Tampa, Florida, October,
2007.

Dr. Eugenia Garrity will be performing Handel’s “Messiah”
with the Tampa Oratorio Singers, Palma Ceia Presbyterian
Church and Bayshore Baptist Church in December, 2007.
•
Dr. Eugenia Garrity will be performing Handel’s “Messiah”
with the Winter Haven Presbyterian Church in December,
2007.
•
Dr. Eugenia Garrity will be presenting a Voice Master Class
titled "The Discovery of Musical Secrets" at the Ridge
Music Teachers Association , Lakeland, Florida, January,
2008.
•Dr. Eugenia Garrity will be performing Bach's " St.
Matthew Passion" with the Tampa Oratorio Singers in Tampa,
Florida in March, 2008.
2006-2007
•
Dr. Eugenia Garrity will be performing Orff’s “Carmina
Burana” with the Tampa Oratorio Singers in Tampa, Florida
in October, 2006.
•
Dr. Eugenia Garrity will be performing with the Hyde Park
United Methodist Church Chancel Choir under the direction
of Nancy Callahan at L'Eglise de la Madeleine and at The
American Church in Paris, France in the Fall of 2006.
• Dr. Eugenia Garrity will be performing Handel’s Messiah
with the Tampa Oratorio Singers, Palma Ceia Presbyterian
Church and Bayshore Baptist Church in December, 2006.
•
Dr. Eugenia Garrity will be performing Mendelssohn’s Elijah
with the Tampa Oratorio Singers in Tampa, Florida in the
Spring of 2007.
• Dr. Eugenia Garrity will be performing in Handel’s Saul
with the Bach Festival of Central Florida in Lake Wales,
Florida in the Spring of 2007.

Dr. Eugenia Garrity presented a program titled "Make Your
Body Sing" at the Bach Encounters for Children in Lakeland,
Florida in October, 2005

Dr. Eugenia Garrity performed Dvorak's “Stabet Mater” with
the Tampa Oratorio Singers in Tampa, Florida on Sunday,
October 23, 2005.

Dr. Eugenia Garrity will performed Handel's “Messiah” with
the Tampa Oratorio Singers in Tampa, Florida on December
10th and 11th, 2005.

Dr. Eugenia Garrity presented discussion sessions on “Music
in the Family Home” as part of the Patel Conservatory
Community Outreach Program in January, 2006

Dr. Eugenia Garrity performed the Mozart “Requiem” with the
Tampa Oratorio Singers in Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida
on March 19th and 20th.2006.

Dr. Eugenia Garrity performed Mendelssohn's “Elijah” with
the Lake Wales Choral Society in Lake Wales, Florida on
April 7-8, 2006.

Dr. Eugenia Garrity accompanied by Nancy Callahan performed
Villa-Lobos’ “Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5” with the Tampa
Bay Performing Arts Center Patel Conservatory Ballet Studio
at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center in June, 2006.
2004-2005
•
Dr. Eugenia Garrity performed Haydn's “Creation” with the
Tampa Oratorio Society on Sunday October 24, 2004 in Tampa,
Florida.
•
Dr. Eugenia Garrity and Dr. JoAnne Stephenson were Guest
Soloists with the Hyde Park United Methodist Church Chancel
Choir under the Direction of Nancy Callahan at concerts in
St. Stephen's Cathedral, Vienna and in Salzburg Cathedral,
Salzburg, Austria during 2004 Thanksgiving week.
•
Dr. Eugenia Garrity performed Handel's “Messsiah” with the
Tampa Oratorio Society on Sunday December 12, 2004 in
Tampa.

Dr. Eugenia Garrity performed Handel's “Messsiah” with the
Suntree United Methodist Church Choir on behalf of Habitat
for Humanity at the King Center in Melbourne, Florida,
Sunday, December 19, 7:00 P.M.

Dr. Eugenia Garrity and Dr. JoAnne Stephenson performed
Handel's “Messiah” with the Messiah Association Chorus and
Orchestra, Winter Haven, Florida, December, 2004.

Dr. Eugenia Garrity performed at the College Music Society
Southern Chapter Conference held at the University of
Florida in Gainesville, Florida on February 24-26. She
performed “Three Poems of Gerald Manley Hopkins” by Tampa
composer Kurt Knecht.

Dr. Eugenia Garrity performed Bach's “Magnificat” and
Vivaldi's “Beatus Vir” with the Tampa Oratorio Singers in
Tampa Florida on Sunday February 27, 2005.

The Concert Series of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake
Wales, Florida presented Dr. Eugenia Garrity and Alan
Gerber on Sunday, April 24, 2005. The concert featured a
selections of operatic arias and broadway music .
